Me and Irfan down again.. this time, Irfan got flu + fever and I’m down because of my sore throat, this time is worse because I lost my voice! iya, trust me, totally gone! If i push myself to talk my voice sounds like a ‘Rocker’ already!
We went to the doctor and I got 2 days Medical Leave as the doctor said I should stop talking at least for the next 3 - 4 days! uwahhhhh…. Can u imagine how am I gonna be without talking!??? As a person who love to talk I can’t imagine my life without talking aven for 1 hour! huhuhu thanks to the IT technology; at least I can reach and ‘talk’ with my friends and family via sms, mms, and Ym hihihi So… from now on I’ll be mama yang ayu lagi santun because I you won’t listen my voice for the next few days! ahhahahaa Irfan already confused why mama suddenly become very silent! hahhahahaa

I fell down in the bathroom last Friday because of ligament injuries of my knee, iya my knee fault not because of the slippery floor ya! huhuhu I cleaned my hand in the bathroom back time, then I wanna step out suddenly I felt that my knee cap (petella) was a bit misplace then I heard the “pop” sound and I fell down! Of course it hurts badly! I cried out of loud larrr apa lagi! huhuhu lucky hubby was around in our room, if not sure I pingsan tak ada siapa mau tolong huhuhu I thought I had dislocation of my knee cap, but I was wrong. Actually, I had the same knee injury once before exactly at the same place when I was 17 y.o last time… I thought the ligament was totally recovered and ok but I was wrong… the ligament is not strong enuf as before! sigh..
Can you believe that I’m having knee problem at the age early thirty!! huhuhu kasiahannnnn this makcik kan? kasihan also my lutut! Means from now on I must move slowly and ‘control ayu lagi sopan’! hihihi since my urat sopan is faded, can you imagine how difficult for me to slow down my movements? At the same time I have to take a break from aerobic class and stop playing badminton for the rest of this year or maybe for the rest of my life huhuhuu sedih nyaaaaaa Habis my plan mau kecilkan my buntut! huhhhh
Btw, I’ve beed advice to walk slowly and try not to make sudden movements that strain my knee beyond its normal range of movement… huhhh I’ve been wondering how can Ratu Siput move fast? hahaha do you wanna c which part of my knee injury? Since my knee is part of my “aurat” that cannot be show off, I’ll share with you the photo from the internet from here to show you where exactly part my knee yang sakit!!! huhuhu

I can still feel the pain on the sides of the knee due to injuries to the collateral ligaments… recovery of ligaments is very slow… I need to go trough the physical therapy to help to regain knee strength and flexibility in future. Since I must stop doing sports activities, don’t be surprise if I’ll appear in my blog in “different and bigger” size ya hahhaha alasan yang baik untuk membesar ihiksss wish me luck ya!
Take care your bones folks!

Last 2 weeks, I suffered by sinusitis; quite common known as “sinus” a.k.a resdung by Malaysians. After went trough the treatment then I was ok… Unfortunately yesterday my dearhubbychubby suffered the same disease or even worse i guess. Then I’ve been thinking, there must be something wrong somewhere in our meal that we took lately or is it in the air surrounding us which can be cause the sinus getting worse! Oh dear.. poor my hubby because his sinus really blocking his nose and cause bad headache. I had no choice than helping him to do sinus treatment in a traditional way on him. Honestly, I never done it before, but i feel so kasihan to my hubby, so.. buat je larrr! hahaha lucky I didn’t burn his nose! :D hihihi no photo taken unfortunately because mama was busy with the “corong asap” at the same time must eyeing on Irfan to not to get closer to his papa hihihi This traditional treatment is very good for those who have sinus or “resdung“, as we can see the maggot/parasite come out from the skin… sounds horrible isn’t it? But very effective!
And today he’s feeling much better and no more gatal² hidung ihikksss (Thanks to ‘corong asap serai wangi from Dyatasha’ hihihi)
Referring to wikipedia, sinusitis is an inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, which may or may not be as a result of infection, from bacterial, fungal, viral, allergic or autoimmune issues. Newer classifications of sinusitis refer to it as rhinosinusitis, taking into account the thought that inflammation of the sinuses cannot occur without some inflammation of the nose as well (rhinitis).
There are two types of sinusitis – acute and chronic. Acute sinusitis is a short-term inflammation of your sinus membranes, usually lasting less than eight weeks. If it occurs no more than three times per year, with each episode lasting no longer than 10 days, each episode is diagnosed as acute sinusitis.
Chronic sinusitis lasts longer than eight weeks or occurs more than four times per year, with symptoms usually lasting more than 20 days.
Sinusitis, both acute and chronic, is extremely common around the world!
I think the one have been attacking us was the acute type! huhuhu Ok folks that’s all about the sinus for today… For those who are having the same problem like us, try to drink plenty of water and hydrating beverages such as hot tea… It helps open the sinuses and you’ll feel much better… Have Have a great day then!

Do you like to drink cold water after your meal? I do!! My mom always remind us not to drink cold water after meal, but I can’t resist myself. It’s so difficult to change this habit! My mom keeps telling us “tak bagus untuk perut = not good for stomach” (without telling us more details about the effects) However, last week I received one forwarded email with an article about this cold water issue. Referring to the article, it’s not good to drink cold water after meal because it’s bad for our body as the cold water will solidify the oily stuffs that we consumed and will slow down digestion which can create “sludge”. Once the “sludge” reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by intestine faster than solid food. It will line the intestine and very soon this will turn into fats and leads to cancer… ok, I start to think twice here, how can fats turn to cancer at this stage? IF it is true, how long to turns the fat into cancer? I hope the article can explain very detail about it but I couldn’t find any… OK, it freaks me out but I am still curious about the facts… I know somehow, I shouldn’t drink cold water that been freeze in a plastic bottle in a freezer as it releases ‘dioxins’ which is it will poison the cold water in it. There for, once we drink this cold water, our body cell will be poison by this Dioxins. *Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our body and can causes cancer (especially breast cancer)* So, how bad is cold water for my body if I drink only from the safe freezer mate Tupperware Fridge Water Bottle after my meal then? ( as far as I am concern, all Tupperware Fridge water Bottle are safe to be use in a freezer) What I got from the article is, it is still dangerous to my body if I drink that ’safe’ cold water after my meal! huhuhu All this plastics issue is freak me out already, seriously! And now this cold water effects pula! duhhhh So, is that means I must drink warm water after my meal?? duhhhh how can I adjust myself to drink warm ‘cendol’ with Laksa penang!? or to drink warm ‘ais kacang’ with mee curry!? eh ada ke ais kacang suam?
I admit, to change my life style from plastics to glass or ceramic container is quite easy move but to stop to drink cold water after my meal duhhh it’s a big challenge for me! uwaaa
but… I must to think about it again… better safe than sorry rite, so I challenge myself to start to drink warm water after my meal in this fasting month! So here I am… struggling to change this habit with all my constancy… *finger cross*
